It's been 1 year and 1 day since we left MI and made our way to central OH. We didn't know how long we would be living with my in laws, but we knew we could no longer stay in MI, and we had to do something. Thankfully, we were only in temporary living for 5 months. It was a time of healing for us, a time to get to know David's new step dad and a time for my MIL and I to get to know each other even better! It was not a horrible time. We had a great time last summer, and I think in some ways we were all amazed! :) I mean, it's not always a great thing to have to live with your parents. However, for us it was a good experience. Don't get me wrong--we were most excited for David to get a job and for us to get out on our own again, but truly, those 5 months were good months.
Where has this year taken us? Well, we had a great summer, David got a job, we bought our first house, we found out we were expecting baby Hardin #2 and Cora turned 2. It's been a jam-packed, filled-up year! It's been a wonderful year full of new beginnings and blessings from the Lord. It's hard to believe it's only been a year since we left MI. We are so thankful for where He has brought us and from what he took us out of.
